Job Description

Role Title Executive Director – B2B Reporting to Group Commercial Officer  

Responsible for driving B2B globally and defining the vision 

  • Drive all responsibilities listed in the team purpose, with analytical support from Commercial Strategy and Portfolio management team 
  • Co-create multi-year B2B value creation plans with OpCos 
  • Set and track KPIs to support the B2B value creation plans 
  • Follow-up OpCos on a quarterly and yearly basis to ensure adherence to the agreed value creation plan, or to co-create an adapted plan when required 
  • Drive effective B2B strategies, investments, policies and practices across OpCos
  • Support hiring, firing and evaluation of OpCo B2B CxOs

 Role Profile 

  • Provide guidance and be a discussion partner to OpCos on B2B strategy and development 
  • Take interim management roles when required 
  • Represent group commercial on OpCo BoDs 
  • In conjunction with Group Brand team provide guidance on implementation of a consistent look and feel across Ooredoo OpCo B2B products and outlets 
  • Provide commercial direction for OG technology roadmap to ensure technology supports B2B and commercial objectives 
  • Aligned multi-year B2B Plan co-created for each OpCo and approved by OpCo management / GMC  Prior years B2B targets were met for each OpCo 
  • Interacts with Internal External  Group: o GMC members, including all OGCxO’s. o Cross-functional Senior Management  OpCo: o CEO/CBO/CCO o CSO o CFO 
  • Business Partners, vendors and suppliers  Consultancies Decision Making  Provides recommendations to GCCO, GMC, GLT, CLT/BLC, OpCo Boards and CBO’s and CEO’s on: - Group B2B Strategy and strategic priorities - OpCo KPI definitions for B2B KPI’s - OpCo strategic and annual plans and B2B strategy. - OpCo performance - People and structure for B2B 

  • 20+ years of experience in B2B Operations
  • Experience as a Chief B2B Officer in a leading Telco OpCo 
  • 5 years of B2B sales experience and managing large teams
  • Track record of defining and leading successful B2B strategies 
  • Minimum Entry Qualifications 
     Bachelor Degree from a top tier university with high marks
  • Master’s degree is a plus
  • English mandatory, another language spoken in one of our OpCos is a plus 
     Technical Behavioural 
    Development of B2B Strategies encompassing all product areas
  • Ability to combine local and global best practices and knowledge to maximise business benefits
  • Analyse performance and market data and based on that make business recommendations
  • Process development 
  • Excellent leadership and a successful / proven people management experience, both directly and in virtual teams with no formal authority with a coaching ability to develop others
